Partnership & Business Develpment Representative | EDU
The Higher Education team at Red Ventures is seeking a full time Partnership & Business Development Representative who will work closely with the Vice President, Business Development, to identify and cultivate new relationships with top universities. We’re the leading organic lead generation marketplace with dozens of student resource sites under our umbrella. We command an audience of 10 million+ monthly visitors on our sites, which include bestcolleges.com, thebestschools.org, onlinemba.com, and more. This role will be based in our Puerto Rico headquarters, but the Business Development team is distributed throughout the US. This fast-paced, dynamic role will be a great fit for someone who is interested in becoming a foundational part of a growing sales organization within the higher education industry.
What You'll Do:
- Cold call, email, and engage with higher education administrators and staff
- Timely follow up with leads and active cadence of communications
- Qualify leads and set meetings with decision makers for our Business Development team
- Help build and maintain prospect and lead lists within higher education institutions
- Track outreach and communication in Salesforce
- Educate leads on how Red Ventures can help them meet marketing and enrollment goals
- Collaborate with the data ops and partnerships team to utilize relevant data in your conversations
- Meet goals consistently
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 2+ years of sales experience with an outbound sales team
- A tenacious self starter who’s relentless about reaching goals
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in a digital environment with working knowledge of Salesforce
- Experience working on a distributed team
- Confident and comfortable talking with high-level prospects
- Desire to gain sales experience and grow into an Account Executive role over tim
Compensation
- Cash Compensation Range: $50,000-75,000* *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
