This is an exciting opportunity to support the Vice President in APJ, in the strategy, vision and execution of the organisation to accelerate Elastic’s transformation. You will play a key role in helping the organisation focus on and achieve its most important goals in the coming years. In this role you will think strategically and drive a strong agenda of accountability, execution and delivery. Partnering with the Field Operations Leadership team, you will help to align and execute against the team's objectives.

What You Will Be Doing:

Working as a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with leadership, business partners, and several cross-functional teams (Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Technology, Strategy and Operations). Demonstrating a strong executive presence in representing the organisation and easily navigating from strategy to tactical issues.

  • Facilitation of staff meetings, monthly all field meetings, Field Leadership Team (FLT) meetings, RVP Community Calls, Sales All Hands, APJ Pipeline Councils, QBRs, strategic off-sites, and planning sessions. Establish and own the agendas, meeting content (slides) and maintain operational cadence(s) and drive actions to completion. Create and run the organisational calendar of meetings, events and check-points
  • Help to create operational cadence and then track high-level organisational goals and accountable owners with monthly and quarterly reviews and checkpoints. Create and roll out Monday.com to the APJ leadership team to streamline timely follow up across all functions.
  • Manage Group Administrator(s) -  establish and lead a group administrator(s) who will be responsible for supporting the efficient functioning of the leadership team and ensuring alignment with APJ goals.
  • You are the conduit between leadership to the rest of the Field Operations organization, conveying and ensuring successful communication and implementation of critical initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the APJ communications team to develop messaging and communication strategies both internally (All Hands, newsletter, adhoc announcements, Sales All hands) and externally (LinkedIn Strategy, thought leadership and other adhoc engagements) ensuring consistency in messaging.
  • Working cross functionally in a Programmatic function with marketing, sales development and partners on campaigns, targeted promotions and messaging to targeted industries, and effective rollout and adoption to the APJ sales team.
  • Project Management: Lead and/or support special projects aligned with APJ goals and initiatives, ensuring timely execution and successful outcomes. Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, providing regular updates to the VP Sales and other key stakeholders (for example SKO, Discovery Workshops, Executive Sponsorship Program, APJ 3 year vision)
  • Coordinate execution of crucial initiatives and programs. Drive process improvement and simplification wherever possible
  • Liaise with the Finance Partner to develop the financial plan needed to support the annual plan and strategies, tactics and resources necessary to achieve goals

  • Global Leader Visits Management -  Ownership of coordinating and managing visits from global leaders to the APJ region. Liaise with internal stakeholders both globally/ locally and external customers/ partners to organize schedules, logistics, briefing and agendas for these visits, ensuring a seamless and productive experience for all parties involved.

 

What You Bring Along:
  • 10 years of experience, preferably with executive and operational execution experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a strategic advisory role, preferably in consulting, marketing, finance, or corporate strategy.
  • You are known for being able to prioritise your tasks in an ever-changing, dynamic environment where no day is like the previous. Working at Elastic will challenge your ability to see the bigger picture of what you are doing while never losing the nitty-gritty detail out of focus.
