You will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and scaling partnerships and direct client relationships in key verticals—such as cross-border eCommerce, B2B service exports, outsourcing, and emerging digital industries.

What you’ll do

  • Own full-cycle business development for Japan and selected APAC markets (SG, HK, KR, PH, etc.)
  • Drive new acquisition through direct outreach, networking, and partner-driven channels
  • Consultatively sell Payoneer’s B2B solutions (e.g., global receiving accounts, FX conversion, payout services, working capital)
  • Understand and advise on complex multi-country payment flows and entity structures
  • Develop relationships with local incorporation agencies, fintech enablers, marketplaces, and digital export platforms
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders (Marketing, Product, Compliance, Legal) to localize strategy
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting through Salesforce
  • Monitor competitive trends in APAC payment/fintech space and proactively share insights

Who you are

  • 3–6 years of B2B business development, solution sales, or partnerships experience
  • Strong familiarity with international payments, multi-entity commerce, or fintech
  • Experience working with clients across multiple APAC markets, as well as Japan
  • Native-level Japanese and professional English proficiency (spoken & written)
  • Consultative and analytical approach to sales; able to manage mid-to-long sales cycles
  • Highly self-motivated, adaptable, and culturally sensitive

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with global payout platforms, virtual account products, or FX/currency management tools
  • Past involvement in cross-border setup (e.g., SG/HK/US company formation, local tax rules, platform compliance)
  • Knowledge of verticals like BPO, SaaS, eCommerce, medical/healthcare exports, digital services
  • Prior experience in a regional APAC manager role, preferably in fintech, eCommerce, or payments
  • Understanding of regulatory environments across APAC (e.g., MAS, FSA, JFSA, BSP, etc.)
