What You'll Do:

LogicMonitor is disrupting the hybrid cloud monitoring market by changing the way businesses use disparate sources of data. We are already a leader in this space – and we started by solving the hardest, most complicated problem first. With roots in the IT Infrastructure Monitoring space, we have carved out excellent product-market fit in hybrid cloud monitoring. Our customers love LogicMonitor's ability to bring cloud and traditional IT together into one view, as seen in minimal churn rates, expansion business, and exciting new customer references. As we enter this next phase of growth, we are in search of a Business Development Manager, Professional Services.

As a Business Development Manager, Professional Services, you will spearhead business development within existing customer accounts. Your primary focus will be on strategically targeting and engaging with customers, both existing and select strategic accounts, to promote training and adoption services. Your goal is to ensure that customers successfully implement innovative and effective solutions to meet their business objectives. You will play a crucial role throughout the Services Sales lifecycle, from initial discovery to producing the recommended Scope of Work.

In this position, you will closely collaborate with the Customer Success & Sales teams as a trusted advisor and business partner. Your strength lies in both business and technical acumen, supported by a proven track record of consistently surpassing sales revenue targets year after year. Your background includes presenting professional services solutions to business and IT executives, with the ability to translate client needs into appropriate solutions.

As the ideal candidate, you excel in building confident relationships and identifying key stakeholders, fostering strong rapport. Your experience extends to managing complex sales cycles and navigating enterprise organizations to establish solid engagements with multiple stakeholders. A positive mindset defines you, viewing challenges as opportunities and demonstrating the ability to motivate and lead by example. This role will involve travel, and you should anticipate varied working hours. We seek goal-oriented candidates who comprehend how to formulate a business development plan across a territory. 

Here's a closer look at this key role:

  • Drive new services sales opportunities and build a pipeline for services.
  • Achieve sales revenue targets YoY
  • Define target services accounts and work in collaboration with CS and sales teams to execute PS sales.
  • Become a subject matter expert on product and PS offerings.
  • Provide research on competition, industry trends, and business news to support product positioning.
  • Regularly spend time with team members in CS to understand challenges within existing customer accounts in order to build sales enablement deliverables to meet their needs.
What You'll Need:
  • Batchelor's degree in a business or technology related subject preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience
  • Ability to simply articulate complex technologies
  • Experience in either Observability, AIOps, Monitoring, ITSM, or IT Management software industry is desirable 
  • Proven track record of exceeding software sales quotas
  • Motivated self-starter, able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Proven experience of negotiating new business opportunities

LogicMonitor believes in pay transparency, so we provide the base salary ranges for all of our jobs in the United States. Actual base salary offered will vary depending on factors including but not limited to: location, education, experience, skills, and qualifications. As part of our holistic compensation philosophy, LogicMonitor also offers many competitive elements in our total compensation package for US employees, such as bonus or commission compensation in addition to the base pay, an equity program for all full time employees, 401K matching, and other rewards. 

Base Salary Range$112,000—$143,500 USD
