Our Opportunity:

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer II at our facility in Dallas, TX to own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key decisions and process improvements.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Work closely with the Supply Chain teams in areas including forecasting analytics and design, inventory placement, customer experience and replenishment management continuously optimizing for improved customer experience and in-stock positions
  • Analyze demand and resource requirements against available resources to identify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to solve for resource constraints
  • Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and various technological platforms
  • Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
  • Respond to high priority requests from senior business leaders
  • Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for secondary data sets

What You’ll Need:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Information Management, Data Science, Business Intelligence, or a related field and 3 years of experience. Will also accepts a master’s degree and 1 year of experience. Experience must involve 1 year in the following: planning, forecasting and/or Supply Chain. Experience must also involve the following: dealing with results, metrics, and data to create new processes; Tableau, Excel, and SQL; Python; data warehousing; conveying key insights from complex analysis in summarized business terms and effectively communicating with technical teams; BI/visualization tools (Tableau/DOMO); performing analysis with descriptive statistics, including A/B tests; Big Data stack environments (Hadoop); and experience with retail, ecommerce, customer analytics, and transportation data.
