Our Opportunity: 

The Business Intelligence Engineer III will be responsible for driving improvements in incrementality measurements for our marketing campaigns leveraging their analytical skills and expertise to enhance our understanding of campaign effectiveness and optimize our marketing strategies. This role offers the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilize cutting-edge tools and technologies and make a significant impact on the success of CRM initiatives. In addition, this position will oversee budget positions related to data analytics, business intelligence and decision support such as data acquisition and storage, data processing and transformation, BI tools and platforms, data governance and compliance.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement robust methodologies to measure the incrementality of marketing campaigns, including A/B testing, experimental design, and causal inference techniques to evaluate impact and optimize resource allocation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key metrics & KPIs for evaluating the effectiveness of CRM initiatives and marketing campaign
  • Design and execute experiments to quantify the incremental impact of various marketing channels, strategies and tactics on customer behavior and business outcomes
  • Analyze large dataset to identify trends, patterns and insights related to campaign performance, customer engagement and ROI to refine targeting strategies and justify investments
  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, dashboards and reporting tools to monitor and track incrementality measurement in real time
  • Work closely with data engineering and BI teams to ensure data integrity, accuracy and accessibility for analysis and reporting purposes
  • Provide actionable recommendations and insights to optimize marketing strategies, allocation of resources and campaign targeting efforts based on incrementality analysis
  •  Communicate findings, results, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization through clear and compelling presentations, reports, and visualizations to drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance data collection, attribution modelling and experimentation capabilities to advance incrementality measurement capabilities within the organization

What You'll Need:

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience with detailed knowledge of BI data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools
  • Different database technologies, including Vertica, SQL Server, and Snowflake
  • Writing and tuning SQL scripts
  • Scripting for automation, including Python, and R
  • Experience must include 3 years in data analysis, experimentation, metrics, dashboard building and maintenance
  • Experience using business intelligence reporting and visualization tools, including Excel and Tableau
  • Experience with online & instore experimentations

 

Compensation & Benefits: 

Our salary range for a Business Intelligence Engineer III position is $134,500.00 - $215,000.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Non-exempt hourly team members accrue paid time off (PTO) while salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Non-exempt hourly team members in Fulfillment Centers and Customer Service are also eligible for additional unplanned unpaid time off (UTO). Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
