Databricks is looking for a motivated Operations Manager to join our Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy & Operations team. We help build Learning & Enablement strategy, provide strategic analyses, and drive a data-driven decision making approach to our successful & fast-growing Learning business.
You will lead an Operations Team, define and monitor metrics and critical indicators, use data and qualitative information to help Learning & Enablement Leadership manage the business. You will support essential aspects of our GTM design and annual planning process. You will help continue building a strong organization, improving processes, and understanding E2E services, establishing key dashboards and full reporting to oversee operations on a daily basis. You will also help in determining the health of our operations. You will work with our Enablement, Finance, Data, Operations, and other GTM teams.
The impact you will have:
- Continue building a strong Operations Team to ensure proper synergy, collaboration, and top performing group of individuals
- Create the strategic framework that will leverage all capabilities of our people and technology to drive E2E transformation in operations
- Define the path of proper investments that will support the elevation of the contribution of the ops team
- Be a trusted partner to the all our stakeholders inside and outside Strategy & Operations that will help connect the dots and impact the bigger picture of the training business revenue and service delivery
- Guide annual Operations planning process for the training operations organization with monthly framework contribution review
- Design and manage personnel strategy between flexible (contractors) and fixed capacities (Full FTEs) to strive for proper revenue margin contribution, operational cost reduction and operational savings
- Support Director on data analysis, operational improvements, executive level presentations such as MBRs and/or QBRs
- Provide visibility and performance through tracking full E2E Operations Services to keep internal and external stakeholders informed on key aspects of the operation
- Develop our people to help them reach their top potential and personal goals related to skills development, career progression and personal achievements
What we look for:
- 7+ years of Operations Leadership proven experience & expertise
- Ability and passion to lead people, optimize services, analyze data, set priorities, and solve complex problems
- Propensity to establish automatic ways to oversee the E2E operation to understand at any point in time the health of the services
- Rigor and attention to detail to drive a business cadence and drive execution
- Passion for working highly collaboratively across stakeholders from different organizational levels
- A fondness for customer service, patience and humility in a very faced paced growth business
- Natural desire to be ahead of the curve, be step ahead of stakeholders, be a proactive identificator of possible challenges, etc.
