Reporting to the Director, Partner Strategy & Operations, the Business Strategy Analyst will support the growth of Partnerships Organization through analytics and business reporting. You will work with Partnerships leaders to ensure the smooth running and success of their teams. Responsibilities include building processes and reports to track KPIs, creating analyses, and supporting annual planning and forecasts, all with the intention of providing visibility and data-driven insights to business stakeholders.

The role will require strong technical skills as you will immerse in data and drive ongoing analysis on a daily basis. You will act as the trusted advisor to business stakeholders by providing accurate, relevant and timely insights. You will work closely with the GTM Analytics team to support dashboard development and data tables curation. 

The Impact You Will Have:

  • Build: You will design, develop, and maintain dynamic reports, customized dashboards, analyses, and models to inform strategic decisions.
  • Operate: You will support operations and business cadence calls e.g.team calls, forecast calls, quarterly business reviews.
  • Project Manage: You will manage the requirements gathering and support the execution of strategic analytic projects.
  • Relationships: You will build and maintain relationships with stakeholders within the Partnerships organization and with the broader GTM Strategy and Operations team.
  • Innovation: You will experience Databricks’ latest innovation in your work by using Databricks’ Data Intelligence Platform. You will also leverage GenAI to help drive automation and scale.

  • You are technical and fluent in data. Whether it’s analyzing data sets with tools like Tableau or SQL queries, or creating complex models and prototype tools, data is a core part of your toolkit. You are proficient in Salesforce reporting and business processes.
  • You love building processes at scale and are familiar with automation. You enjoy designing and executing scalable processes that serve the needs of the organization and its participants.
  • You excel in a collaborative environment and have a high degree of honesty, integrity and sound judgment. You translate team member needs into clear tasks and deliverables for contributors. You work through dependencies, bottlenecks, and tradeoffs with ease.
  • You thrive in partnership with the business. You understand how the business operates and all the relevant KPIs. You seek to understand the “why” behind the requests that you receive and create an analytical solution to solve business problems.
  • You have excellent spoken and written communication & presentation skills. You have experience communicating insights, presenting ideas, and resolving conflicts.
  • You can work independently across multiple projects at once. We are in a hyper-growth environment. As such, you will manage multiple requests or projects simultaneously. Sometimes, you will be given a task with a short timeline. You are comfortable working in an environment with changes.
  • You have 2+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst at a top-tier technology company. You have seen what it takes to support a high-growth top-tier organization

 

Pay Range Transparency

The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
