THE ROLE

Join our Monetization Strategy and Operations team to architect the future of Pure's subscription platform and Order to Revenue processes. You will spearhead transformation initiatives, applying deep expertise in enterprise subscription management to enhance business efficiency and scalability. This role is a critical force in the CFO organization, driving measurable impact by collaborating across Product Business Units, Finance, Sales, and IT.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Define and Execute the Transformation Roadmap: Own the end-to-end process roadmap and execution for business process automation related to a key Pure subscription function (e.g., Order to Revenue), ensuring timely delivery and measurable, global business impact.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Alignment: Drive executive-level buy-in and commitment across Product Management, Sales Operations, Finance, Legal, and IT for all critical workstream initiatives and strategic process changes.
  • Deliver Large-Scale Process Change: Plan, lead the implementation, and monitor large-scale business process transformation, providing strategic direction for major system implementations and modifications (specifically around CPQ, Billing, and ERP integrations).
  • Solve Complex Business Problems: Oversee the analysis of complex, interconnected business problems across enterprise applications (CPQ, Subscription Management, Entitlement Management, ERP) to define and resource comprehensive, scalable solutions with IT Architects and senior Product Management.
  • Influence Strategic Decisions: Present strategic analyses, compelling business cases, and workstream performance reviews to senior and executive leadership to secure resources and shape the company's operational strategy.
  • We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Expertise in Enterprise Subscription Platforms: Demonstrated deep knowledge and execution experience with enterprise subscription management, billing platforms (e.g., Zuora Billing), and CRM/CPQ systems (e.g., Salesforce CPQ).
  • Strategic Process Transformation: Proven ability to define, manage, and implement strategic, end-to-end business process roadmaps in a complex, global Order-to-Revenue or Quote-to-Cash environment.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership and Influence: Exceptional ability to drive alignment, negotiate priorities, and gain consensus across diverse cross-functional teams (Finance, Sales, Product, IT) and with senior executive stakeholders.
  • Complex Problem-Solving: Mastery in analyzing highly complex business challenges involving interconnected enterprise applications, translating requirements into scalable, effective system solutions.
