The Team:

Business Technology (BT - Enterprise Products) team collaborates with multiple Business teams like FP&A, GTM, Commissions Operations, Comp Accounting, Payroll, Customer First teams, etc at Okta. The team supports Finance applications like Revpro, Netsuite, Anaplan, Alvara, Xactly to enable our Business partners to be successful in their operational activities at Okta.

The Role:

We are looking for a Xactly Connect Analyst who can work very closely with the Commissions Operation and Sales Commissions team on strategic, organizational and operational projects designed for the Xactly system to deliver value to our Sales and Compensation teams. A strong candidate will be a key driver of systems and process improvements across the Org. You'll also scale integrations for Xactly using Connect to meet future business needs as the company grows. Due to the Business criticality, this role will be required to work with a few hours overlap of US (Pacific Time) hours during the onboarding/training process and month end close and/or as required.

 

What you will do:

  • Partner with Sales Commissions Business and Finance teams to support the end to end software development cycle of Xactly system implementations.
  • Subject matter expert for commissions processing, the Xactly product suite, primarily Connect.
  • Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality technical solutions on the Xactly platform based on industry best practices
  • Gathering, documenting, developing and migrating code as per Business requirements.
  • Manage the process of implementing improvements and new functionality in the Xactly integration.
  • Deliver support and solutions for break/fix issues
  • Research and keep updated on Xactly technology and communicate trends and future needs related to Connect to leadership
  • Investigate integration issues and work closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • Participates in data integrations and migration solutions

 

What you bring:

  • 3+ years of experience working with and building Sales Compensation systems in a professional, fast-paced environment
  • Xactly Connect certification Level 1 is mandatory and Level 2 is preferred
  • Xactly Connect platform development experience (Configuring, testing, deployment and production support)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a technical capability for financial systems development, support, reporting and automation.
  • Strong business relationship and partnership skills and experience
  • High attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Passionate about business analytics and financial modeling
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environment, Self-motivated, independent, and focused on continuous skill development and expansive learning
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills and ability to operate collaboratively and independently.

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience in collaborating with an integration specialist in Boomi to build integrations
  • Domain experience in Sales Commissions and Finance systems
  • Familiarity with NetSuite ERP, Workday, Greenhouse, Anaplan, ETL Applications (Snowflake/Informatica/Microsoft SSIS, etc)
  • Experience with REST API integration and JSON
  • Experience working with relational databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.)
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent preferred.#LI-MM5
