About the department

Cloudflare’s IT Enterprise Applications Team is a crucial pillar of the CIO Organization. The team operates Cloudflare’s enterprise systems end-to-end, providing process cohesiveness across the functional business areas.

What you'll do

Cloudflare’s Enterprise Applications Team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Systems Analyst with a specialization in Data Integrity to join our team. As a key contributor to our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the Integrity, reliability, and efficiency of Cloudflare’ data and its supporting processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in best practices for data management, has experience creating comprehensive Data Flow Diagrams, and is adept at analyzing data architecture and integrations with a focus on Salesforce CRM and other key business systems platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement best practices for data management to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Gain expertise in the complex data flows across Cloudflare systems, serving as a subject matter expert on data integrity of the GTM Platform ecosystem.
  • Maintain a thorough record of how data is gathered, stored & accessed, including the accuracy, consistency and reliability of Cloudflare’s organizational data.
  • Create and maintain detailed Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs) to provide insights into the company's data architecture and integrations with a particular emphasis on Salesforce CRM and other critical business systems platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and reduce redundancy in data transit, ensuring optimal utilization of CRM & other sales GTM platform resources.
  • In partnership with management, identify areas for process improvement related to data integrity and collaborate with respective departments to implement enhancements as needed.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of data quality issues, corrective actions and preventive measures.
  • Working closely with various departments to support and coordinate the creation of data integrity processes and protocols and be a trusted advisor to business stakeholders to establish data governance policies .
  • Provide strategic insights into data usage and recommend improvements to align with business objectives.
  • Possess excellent communication skills to interact effectively with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to understand business needs and align data management strategies accordingly.
  • Conduct data-cleansing procedures to rectify errors and inconsistencies in datasets.
  • The nature of the work will require perseverance, accountability, attention to detail and the ability to react to ever changing business needs.

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with a focus on database management and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of best practices in Data Integrity & governance, Data quality, and Data security.
  • Proficient in creating Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs) and conducting Data analysis.
  • Extensive experience working with Salesforce CRM and other key business systems platforms (Big Query, Netsuite, Marketo, Gainsight, Zendesk & GTM Tools)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 

Bonus Skills:

  • Salesforce certification (e.g., Salesforce Administrator) is a big plus.
  • Experience with CRM & GTM platform enhancements and optimization.
  • Extensive with data reduction and platform resource conservation strategies.
  • Extensive experience with DFD Tooling (Lucid Chart, Miro, MS Visio, Etc.)
