Role: Community Manager/Content Creator
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
About the role:We are looking for a Social Media Community Manager & Content Creator to become part of the team managing the social content across the Beauty & Wellbeing category of our team. This role will cover brands across Instagram and TikTok. You will hunt out “golden nugget” opportunities daily for content creation and social engagement that’ll make these brands shine on social. As such, content planning will be a large part of this role so you will need to have a strategic approach to planning out your monthly and yearly calendar moments as well as creating the relevant raw/organic content. You will be at the forefront of the brand conversation so experience with community management and how to optimise is essential. This opportunity is perfect for a talented and experienced individual who can translate brand personality into conversations on social media, is great at ideating highly engaging content which leverages current trends and knows how best to use platform functionality and strengths to our advantage.
What you will be doing:- Listen and respond to relevant consumer comments and questions
- Provide on-brand responses to influencer and consumer mentions
- Identify opportunities for the brand to surprise and delight its audience
- Spot product seeding opportunities with influencers/creators
- Track trending topics
- Monitor feeds for relevant opportunities to inject the brand into culture
- Write copy for organic posts and paid/dark content
- Ideate excellent creative content which taps into trends and our audience’s passions and behaviours
- Liaise with clients to gather feedback and approval on content
- Schedule content to go live across social channels.
- Creating engaging brand led content
- Receive and interrogate briefs from clients and supporting in brief development to creative teams and other partners
- Support in development of social channel strategy workstreams
- Plan and create social content calendars
- Present content ideas to clients
- This job is best suited to an individual with at least 2/3 years of experience working in an agency (ideally) or client side on brand marketing through social media.
- Level-headed, strategic thinker
- Entrepreneurial and proactive - ability to spot opportunities to create content and help clients achieve their business ambitions
- Creative flair and great written communications skills and excellent copywriting
- Nuanced and thorough knowledge of social platforms – and how brands can best leverage them to achieve commercial results
- Keen interest in digital trends and popular culture
- Worked with social media management tools e.g Sprinkler, Tribe
- Measurement and Reporting
- Content creation
- Proactive, structured and agile approach
- Attentive to details
- English and Arabic fluency- both written and verbal- is a must
