Role: Campaign Coordinator (FTC - 12 months)

Location:Hamburg, Germany (Onsite)

 

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Campaign Coordinator will be responsible for running creative and production processes and working alongside our existing talented Project Management team to drive a campaign from brief to delivery. They work with the Account Management and Resourcing Team to schedule campaigns and resources and help source the right talents, both internally and externally, to fulfill projects to the highest standards. 

They have a good understanding of Integrated disciplines and are confident working in agency teams. They create timing plans and budgets within our traffic system, assume responsibility for the review and approval process of creative output and ensure the projects they own run on time and on budget.

You will need to be great with creative teams and account teams alike, hardworking and passionate about creative and producing the best product you can. Process is key, and someone who really respects and understands that, although creative needs freedom, it also needs to follow a framework and process to allow it to thrive. 

What we want to see is a proven track record of producing multiple mid to high complexity projects. You should have meticulous attention to detail, understand the importance of the profitability of your projects for the agency and you will have proven yourself as a safe pair of hands on the day-to-day running of multiple prestigious campaigns.

You have;

  • The ability to manage both individual and project workloads and identifying challenges and risks within them, along with the mitigation and solution.   
  • Competency in multitasking and great organisational skills.  
  • The ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment and manage multiple projects at one time. 
  • Confidence with clients. 
  • Experience managing the daily resource schedule for off-site design team.  
  • Experience facilitating internal briefings to the off-site design team. 
  • The ability to manage briefing and de-briefing triage and liaison with on-site Management team .  
  • Experience ensuring projects are delivered within the deadline and within scoped hours of the project.
  • Experience managing timesheet compliance and correct allocation of hours to projects within OMG. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

Project Set Up 

  • Taking overall ownership of integrated creative projects from brief to fulfillment. 
  • Liaising with clients to determine campaign scope and produce estimates and schedules. 
  • Identifying, exploiting and managing ad hoc opportunities when they arise. 
  • Working with account teams to agree and create timing plans and estimates within our internal traffic system. 
  • Estimating complex, cross-platform projects. 

Project Delivery 

  • Schedule projects in line with the correct internal resource and help to source external resource where necessary. 
  • Ensure campaigns follow the agency process and are completed on time and on budget. 
  • Work closely with Digital/TV/Print Producers to unify skills needed to execute integrated campaigns. 
  • Motivate and manage teams under tight deadlines. 
  • Manage internal stakeholders in relevant production processes where necessary. 
  • Drive efficiency and creative excellence at all times. 

Reporting 

  • Report to the Team Lead on a regular basis to ensure projects are running correctly to budget and schedule. 
  • Ensure an understanding on how to report and manage operational income for your projects accurately and on time. 
  • Escalate any queries concerning scoping, or estimates to the Team Lead. 

 

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

  • Experience managing integrated campaigns in a creative and production agency. 
  • Be unafraid to ask questions and have an innate ability to identify and manage project risk. 
  • Strong track record in executing campaigns across multiple platforms. 
  • Previous experience of project scoping, budget management, scheduling, resourcing and production services sourcing. 
  • Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships. 
  • Have a positive, can-do outlook, willing to leverage experience to provide the best solution for each project you own. 
  • Be willing to share your experience where relevant and when it adds to the offering to the client.
  • Be financially conscientious when managing the delivery of a project, ensuring all relevant parties are aware of the financial implications of delays, additional amends and re-briefs.
  • Be able to verify the qualitative and quantitative output of a project against the project objectives.
  • Act as the first line of contact for the client and Account Managers in the life cycle of a project.
  • Understand how to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a top-tier agency service.
  • Knowledge of creating content for CMS and e-commerce would be a bonus.
  • Understand the importance of brands and working within each brand guidelines.
  • Working to deadlines and delivery plans and communicating with on-site teams daily to ensure delivery is on track.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to adhere to internal processes.
  • Strong organisational skills – able to multi-task and manage multiple projects with different deadlines at one time.
  • Good eye for detail and quality control experience.
  • Software competency – Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Zoom, Teams and OMG (Oliver Marketing Gateway internal approval system - training will be provided).
  • Agency/communication/production industry experience. 
  • Basic understanding and genuine interest in artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, showcasing a curiosity for exploring its applications and potential impact.
