At Planet A Foods, we want to revolutionize the food industry to protect the planet we love. We believe that creating better food ingredients, done by perfecting centuries-old fermentation technology, leads to healthier alternatives for us all and can save up to 500 Mt of CO2 per year.

Our first product? Yummy chocolate! We created the world’s first 100% cocoa-free chocolate called ChoViva. Our ChoViva tastes amazing with a solid snap and smooth melt as well as roasty notes and a subtle sweetness. In addition it is completely natural, gluten-free, vegan and made with only seven ingredients. ChoViva doesn’t only deliver on taste and naturalness. It is also kind to the planet with a breathtaking low carbon and water footprint, plus a complete mitigation of deforestation and child slavery!

On our journey to protect our Planet A, we are looking for an Intern as CFO Associate form September 2023. In this role, you will be part of the Finance Team. You will support us in the further development of our corporate financial management. Waiting for you is a unique chance to join a young company at the moment of launching its products. You will work closely with the CFO and the small finance team in strategic business planning and forecasting, scaling up of processes, and everyday finance operations.

Your tasks at Planet A Foods:

• Support the financial planning and forecasting of the company 

• Design and implementation of financial process regarding a new production site

• Support in every-day accounting tasks

• Further development of financial analysis and performance management

• Coordination of other projects and tasks in finance

• You are enrolled in business administration courses (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) with a focus on finance, accounting, controlling. Minimum requirement is having already 4 semesters completed.

• You are a positive person with a passion for sustainable food and working hand in hand with other ambitious people on something meaningful.

• You are self-disciplined, hands-on, pro-active and ready to take ownership.

• You have a strong command of spreadsheet and presentation software. 

• You are fluent in written and spoken English. German is an advantage.

• You are in Munich or willing to relocate to Munich.

• Disclaimer: The internship cannot not last more than 3 month, except for mandatory interns.
