Channel Account Manager - ASEAN

About The Role
Based out of Singapore, this role will report to the Regional Head of Channels - ASEAN & GCR.
You will be responsible for the recruitment, growth and nurturing of Channel Partners that transact with the ASEAN customer segments. You will be working with a broad range of Value Added Resellers, Systems Integrators, Managed Service Providers and Distribution Partners who support this customer segment.
The Channel Account Manager is required to work closely with Account Executives, Partner Solution Engineers, Customer Success Managers, Sales Operations and Partner Marketing to support our customer adoption of Cloudflare products and services and to ensure that Cloudflare Partners are properly enabled, managed and to ensure they are excited to sell Cloudflare products/services.
The ideal candidate will have existing channel partner management experience and a network of potential partner contacts – we are referring to decision makers within partner organisations that can make things happen. Candidates who have been in product management, partner program or product marketing roles and/or have a sales background will be strongly regarded.
Key performance indicators including achieving or exceeding partner sales goals through channel partners assigned to your sales segment territory tied to Account Executives within the segment.
Travel will be required within ASEAN according to partner demand to support partner development, customer meetings and pipeline generation. This will be according to Government allowed travel due to the pandemic.
Responsibilities
- Partner Relationship Management: Develop strong relationships with partner sales team(s) as well as Key Decision Makers and Influencers
- Partner Recruitment: Identify, recruit, enable and manage net new partners
- Enabling distribution partners to be competent in Cloudflare to build sales and product competency through to tier 2 resellers
- Strengthening the relationship with distribution partners across ASEAN including operational excellence such as SLAs, Enablement, Sales engagement and Cadence and forecasting
- This role will collaborate and be aligned to the ASEAN sales team in addition to other internal stakeholders such as marketing, solution engineering and sales operations, etc
- Metrics for success include running quarterly business reviews, building pipeline and deal registration, and closed won partner booked business
Experience
- Experience working across ASEAN markets is a must
- 8+ years experience managing channel partners including recruitment experience
- Experience working with distribution partners will be strongly regarded
- This role is suited to someone who has high energy, has experience collaborating with sales account teams and forecasting
- This role will require travel across ASEAN
- Languages spoken within ASEAN is a bonus
