Role Description

The AMER Channel Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing channel marketing strategies to help drive sales and awareness through resellers, distributors, and DMRs. This includes online channels such as the company's partner portal/GTM Hub, social media, webinars, and email marketing. With a strong marketing and channel background, this role will act as a subject-matter expert for marketing-with, selling-through, and enabling these partners in AMER. Additionally, this individual will support the partner sales teams and be a key cross-functional team member to further develop partner marketing strategies to drive demand and deliver pipeline.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with and enable Dropbox’s regional partners to develop, deliver, and execute compelling, joint go-to-market programs that are scalable across the AMER regional partner community to generate revenue, foster engagement, and position Dropbox as a leader in SasS.
  • Monitor progress and measure results of all key marketing campaigns conducted with/through partners through regular pipeline inspection and opportunity deal tracking to ensure optimization of marketing development funds provided by Dropbox.
  • Communicate effectively up and across teams to inform and drive awareness of partners’ campaigns and results.
  • Execute end-to-end virtual and in-person event logistics (webinars, executive roundtables, trade shows, conferences). Provide onsite event support as required.
  • Work with the Partner Sales Managers (PSM’s) to ensure full alignment between partners’ sales and marketing campaigns and Dropbox’s strategic objectives.
  • Manage and allocate MDF funds, setting marketing goals and objectives for strategic partners based on ROI opportunity and partner performance.
  • Manage marketing programs, and deliverables for two key regional Distributors, including events, campaigns, promotions and partner recruitment.
  • Guide partners in adopting and utilizing Dropbox’s Go-to-Market Hub,  which includes content and assets available for their use as part of the Dropbox marketing campaigns.
  • Be the “go-to” marketing resource for the AMER channel sales team.
Requirements
  • Solid experience in developing go-to-market marketing strategies to drive pipeline through key distributors and resellers.
  • Ability to develop and execute integrated marketing plans including, but not limited to… sales lead management, event marketing, digital marketing and social media
  • Ability to draw insights from data to create compelling campaigns that align with company goals
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to work effectively across functional areas/departments and work well with all levels of management and peers
  • Close attention to detail with emphasis on meeting critical deadlines
  • Ability to negotiate with sales and other internal marketing groups and stakeholders
  • Strong channel marketing execution skills, including expertise distribution programs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
  • 2+ years of sales and marketing experience in the technology sector
  • 2-3+ years of experience interfacing with channel partners such as Value Added Resellers and/or Distributors
  • Experience in marketing campaign development and execution
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Impeccable organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Strong background in metrics tracking and analytical skills
  • Experience in a fast paced, team work oriented environment
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Tableau and MS Office solutions a plus.
  • Travel (30%) throughout North America

Dropbox takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, and peer compensation.  We target most new hire offers between the minimum up to the middle of the range.

Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

Current Salary/OTE Ranges (Subject to change):• US Zone 1: $96,600 - $113,700 - $130,800.• US Zone 2: $87,000 - $102,300 - $117,600.• US Zone 3: $77,400 - $91,000 - $104,700. Dropbox uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location to determine which metropolitan pay range we use. Current US Zone locations are as follows:• US Zone 1: San Francisco metro, New York City metro, or Seattle metro• US Zone 2: Austin (TX) metro, Chicago metro, California (outside SF metro), Colorado, Connecticut (outside NYC metro), Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York (outside NYC metro), Oregon, Pennsylvania (outside NYC or DC metro), Washington (outside Seattle metro) and Washington DC metro• US Zone 3: All other US locations
