The role

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic individual to join our team as the Chief Advisor, Procurement & Supply Chain Transformation. In this function, you will work closely with the Vice-President of Procurement and Supply Chain Management at HelloFresh International. In this key leadership role, you will play a pivotal role within the Procurement and Supply Chain function in  managing and spearheading high-impact projects concentrating on strategic cost reduction as well as driving organizational and structural transformations, providing critical support in managing day-to-day operations, facilitating communication across departments, and contributing to the development and execution of strategic initiatives. In this position, your collaboration with HelloFresh’s geographies, distribution centers and finance will be crucial, spanning over 7 geographies in Europe and Australia - New Zealand.

What you’ll do
  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Collaborate with the Vice-President and Senior Leadership Team to develop, communicate, execute, and sustain strategic initiatives within the Procurement and Supply Chain Management domain.
    • Identify and execute cross-functional high-impact projects: define project scope, improvement potential and objectives as well as project plans aligned with organizational goals
    • Collaborate with diverse teams, including Procurement, Finance, Operations, to manage the timely delivery of project milestones
  • Operational Management:
    • Oversee the daily operations of the Procurement & Supply Chain Management function
    • Identify and quantify efficiency levers and areas for improvement across Procurement & Supply Chain Management function
    • Implement innovative strategies for cost reduction while maintaining quality standards
    • Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular updates to the leadership team.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to ensure seamless execution of business objectives.
    • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analysis and Reporting:
    • Conduct data analysis and research to support decision-making processes.
    • Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials on strategic initiatives.
What you’ll bring
  • An exceptional academic record with degree from a top-tier college or university (Engineering or Business degrees preferred)
  • 6+ years of experience within procurement and/or supply chain management and/or in a top-tier consulting company complemented by international multi-project management in a fast-paced environment gained in consumer-driven industries
  • Demonstrated ability to define and enforce metrics that drive efficiency, measure performance and reduce costs
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex data 
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Exemplary and demonstrable (senior) stakeholder management experience
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Fluent business English knowledge mandatory; German and other European languages are considered a plus
  • Interest to travel abroad to our sites (up to 30%)
