YOUR MISSION
The Chief of Staff to the CPO is a highly trusted strategic partner who amplifies the effectiveness of Glovo’s Product, Engineering, Data, and UX leadership. Acting as the connective tissue between strategy and execution, you will drive alignment, operational excellence, and impact across Tech, the broader organization, and Delivery Hero.
This is a high-leverage role that goes beyond traditional tech expertise. You won’t be managing large teams directly, but you will lead through influence, helping the CPO focus on high-impact initiatives, remove roadblocks, and elevate performance across the organization.

THE JOURNEY
- Strategic Partnership & Leadership Enablement
- Serve as the CPO’s right hand, shaping priorities, challenging assumptions, and reinforcing strategic rigor.
- Collaborate with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Data, and UX to define and execute tech strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Identify and prioritize initiatives that accelerate innovation, execution, and customer impact.
- Execution & Operational Excellence
- Lead the Tech OKRs process end-to-end, ensuring cross-team alignment, ambitious goals, and disciplined execution.
- Drive annual and quarterly planning cycles, translating long-term strategy into actionable near-term plans.
- Design and maintain leadership operating rhythms (stand-ups, MBRs, Tech Council, All Hands, Quarterly Product Review with DH leadership), ensuring decisions are clear, meetings are outcome-driven, and follow-ups happen.
- Promote a high-performance culture and lead high-impact initiatives, acting as a visible role model for collaboration, trust, and constructive challenge.
- Lead initiatives like GlovoNext, #gl-tech-lightspeed updates and tech leadership deep dive trips to showcase craftsmanship, reinforce execution excellence, and foster user-centric perspectives.
- Stakeholder Alignment & Communication
- Act as the connective tissue between Tech, Glovo Business, and Delivery Hero, fostering alignment and clarity.
- Prepare strategic updates, presentations, and narratives for internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate leadership forums, trade-off discussions, and complex decision-making with a focus on outcomes.
- Operational Insight & Continuous Improvement
- Dive into analytics, performance metrics, and product initiatives to provide actionable insights.
- Identify inefficiencies and lead initiatives to improve processes, collaboration, and execution velocity.
- Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement across the tech organization.
- Budget & Resource Stewardship
- Manage the Tech budget with financial discipline, optimize spend, and provide data-driven insights on resourcing trade-offs.

While a good understanding of Product, Engineering, Data, and UX disciplines at scale is ideal, it is not required. Candidates with different experiences or backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Skills can be learned, and embracing diversity is invaluable.
