Jump's Clearing team ensures the reliable flow of our trading activity between our various trading venues and clearing firms across the globe. This team works closely with the sales team, software engineers, and the technical support team to contribute to the growth of Jump’s bilateral trading business. We seek to hire a candidate with strong financial operations, critical thinking, and organization skills to join our global Clearing team based in Chicago. You will be part of a group that ensures the reliable flow of our trading activity between our various trading venues and clearing firms across the globe.

What You'll Do:

  • Learn and support critical daily Clearing functions including trade capture, lifecycle management, reconciliation and break resolution across all products and venues.
  • Work closely with exchanges and clearing brokers to provide necessary support to the front office.
  • Work in unison with various internal teams to provide the best middle office and back-office support for the markets Jump is a part of.
  • Assist with identifying and formulating ideas to improve and resolve process deficiencies and/or gaps.
  • Assist in creating and/or updating written processes and procedures related to the functions above.\Other duties as assigned or needed.

Skills You'll Need

  • At least 1 year work experience preferred in a related capacity
  • Experience with post-trade lifecycles of Equities, Treasuries, Futures, FX, and/or Options
  • Strong business analysis experience within financial operations, with demonstrated examples of process improvement.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to exercise good judgment and pro-active decision-making in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Accomplished communication skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) to both internal and external contacts on a global basis.
  • Proven ability to maintain composure during stressful situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and desire to maintain accuracy while processing large volumes of data under strict time constraints.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-look ups).
  • Minimum of Bachelors' degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field.
  • Predictable and reliable availability.
