We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our team of highly skilled Cloud Engineers, who are dedicated to accelerating the adoption of cloud across Intelex.

As part of our team, you would be contributing to a community-driven project which is focused on removing roadblocks and empowering teams - developing solutions which accelerate cloud implementations, simplify adherence to security standards and promote best practices.

*This is a remote role, and we encourage applicants from India*

Responsibilities and Deliverables
  • Designing and implementing solutions to leverage a Kubernetes cluster.
  • Configuring hardware, peripherals, and services, managing settings and storage, deploying cloud-native applications, and monitoring and supporting a Kubernetes environment
  • Hands-on experience monitoring, managing, and maintaining high-availability web systems (Windows and Linux).
  • Work with other teams to develop and implement our containerization strategy and ensure that our containerized applications meet our business needs.
  • Leverage the use of industry-standard tools including:
  • DataDog, New Relic, Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, etc. to ensure that our customers enjoy outstanding service.
  • Supervise Windows, Network, and Infrastructure trends to ensure that we are ready to scale with encouraged rapid growth.
  • Developing and creating scripts for configuration and infrastructure deployment. Strong scripting knowledge required (Bash, PowerShell or Phyton).
  • Design and deploy CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Octopus, Ansible, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
  • Create infrastructure as code scripts (Terraform, ARM Templates, Cloud Formation, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience in analyzing Application logs, IIS logs, System logs and security logs using event views and log manager.
Organizational Alignment
  • Reports to the Manager, Cloud Operation.
  • Builds and manages relationships with multi-functional teams within the organization.
Technical Proficiencies

Required:

  • 3+ years of Production Kubernetes Experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with Docker and containerization technologies
  • Strong experience with Windows, Linux, or Unix system administration
  • Experience with automation using scripting languages, such as PowerShell, YAML, JSON or similar.
  • Configuration management experience – Ansible, Terraform, Azure Automation Run book or similar.
  • Proficient in supervising and logging tools such as New Relic, Application Insights, AppDynamics or DataDog.
Preferred:
  • CNCF Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) / CNCF Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certifications
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
