We're not just optimizing operations; we're redefining how businesses run, driving billions in value and making us a critical player in the rapidly expanding process intelligence and AI market. For our engineers this means tackling fascinating, large-scale technical challenges with a direct, profound impact on the efficiency and innovation of the world's leading companies.

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Cloud Resource Senior Engineer to join our team. In this critical hands-on role, you will be instrumental in identifying, designing, and implementing technical solutions that drive significant cost efficiencies and optimize resource utilization across our extensive cloud compute and storage infrastructure. • Solution Design & Implementation: Design, develop, and implement automated solutions, tools, and processes for cloud resource optimization (e.g., instance right-sizing, auto-scaling strategies, storage tiering, lifecycle management).
  • Utilization & Optimization Drive: Lead and execute initiatives to increase the utilization of existing cloud resources, including identifying and reclaiming idle or underutilized assets, and promoting shared resource models.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner directly with application development, SRE, and infrastructure teams to understand their resource needs, ensure efficient resource allocation, and integrate cost-aware practices into their workflows.
  • Cost Visibility & Accountability: Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal dashboards and reporting tools to provide clear visibility into cloud spend and utilization trends for various stakeholders.
  • Platform Guardrails & Best Practices: Contribute to the evolution of internal platform standards, policies, and guardrails that promote cost-efficiency and optimal resource usage from the design phase onwards.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or SRE in a large-scale cloud-native environment.
  • Proven expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with a strong understanding of their compute, storage, and networking services.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java) for automation and tool development.
  • Solid understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration principles.
  • Experience with cloud cost management and optimization tools, including native cloud cost explorers and third-party platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical problems, propose effective solutions, and drive their implementation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
