Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining cloud security standards, developing security policies, and implementing security guardrails across our global multi-cloud infrastructure. This role requires a strong background in security architecture and design, as well as hands-on experience in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. The Cloud Security Architect will work closely with the development, DevOps and the other Security teams to ensure that our cloud-based systems and applications are secure, reliable, resilient and compliant.

You will: 

  • Define and develop cloud security standards for our cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure that our cloud systems and applications are secure and compliant with industry standards.
  • Work closely with the development and operations teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in our cloud infrastructure.
  • Conduct security assessments and risk analyses to identify potential security threats and risks to our on-prem, hybrid and cloud-based systems and applications.
  • Develop and implement security guard rails across our cloud infrastructure to ensure that security policies and standards are enforced.
  • Provide guidance and support to the development and operations teams on cloud security best practices and aid on any security-related issues (infrastructure, application, database, etc).
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to ensure that our cloud-based systems and applications are secure.
  • Be self-motivated and able to recognize issues and autonomously work issues to conclusion.

You have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of Security experience 
  • 4+ years of experience as a Cloud Security Architect, Cloud Security Engineer, or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies and security best practices.
  • In depth knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform security services, capabilities and tools.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure as well as application security risk assessments, vulnerability` management, and incident response.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, PCI DSS, and SOC 2.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and CIS Controls.
  • In depth experience with the security capabilities for cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Cloud Architect (CCA) are preferred.
