Role Overview:

As the Commercial Director - Nordics, you will have full P&L responsibility for the Nordic region. Your primary focus will be on maximizing revenue, ensuring profitability, and driving strategic initiatives to propel growth. You will lead and mentor a team of Managing Directors, guiding them in achieving business objectives and fostering a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of growing regional revenue and profitability within Betsson Group.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth and market expansion.
  • Review and optimize country-specific annual market plans, budgets, and strategies.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to Managing Directors, ensuring clear KPIs and effective management of functions.
  • Lead the commercial agenda for the region, including new business development initiatives.
  • Oversee regulatory compliance and guide teams in navigating regulatory matters.
  • Collaborate with Managing Directors and central functions to develop and implement customer experience strategies.
  • Utilize available resources effectively to drive commercial objectives and maximize outcomes.
  • Approve budgets within the region and support Managing Directors in resolving business issues.
  • Build and lead a scalable and efficient regional department, establishing best practices for all regions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within I-gaming and/or e-commerce.
  • 10 years’ experience within commercial and/or marketing executive roles.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role with P&L responsibility.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and market dynamics in the Nordic region.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Native of a Nordic country.
