We’re looking for a Commercial Finance Servicing Analyst to join our growing Servicing team in London. 

Your mission

Wise has already pioneered new ways for people to transfer money across borders and currencies. Our customers can also manage their hard-earned money with the world’s first platform to offer true multi-currency banking. 

Your mission is to develop a granular understanding of Servicing performance and resourcing requirements to help accelerate progress in scaling costs by performing analysis and providing insights that enables team to take more action in improving operations This role gives a one-of-a-kind opportunity to get familiar with the inner workings of our Servicing organisation and apply analyst skills to drive impact

This role gives you the opportunity to:
  • Performance
    • Review monthly Servicing performance at a granular level, including operational metrics to assess how each product and region is performing and identify the underlying drivers
    • Review monthly analytical frameworks that bridge cost growth drivers to operational metrics by product and region
    • Coordinate ad-hoc analysis in areas where further investigation is needed to understand what’s driving increased costs 
  • Resourcing
    • Review resourcing modelling to ensure assumptions are appropriate and understand how much demand is driven by operational workload, efficiency and changes in SLAs
    • Work with the relevant analysts to assess the impact of expansion into new products and regions including new compliance requirements 
  • Strategic Projects
    • Providing analytical support on strategic projects that promote the scaling of costs such as strategic decisions on how to manage products or markets that are not scaling, assessing where the opportunities to efficiently increase outsourcing and evaluating the return on investment on changes to SLAs
  • Availability of data
    • Ensure there are appropriate and accurate data pipelines to enable accurate forecasting of workload and operational capacity across all servicing teams, understand performance and support decision making
    • Ensure that analytical frameworks that enable review of performance are available either through automated dashboards or self-service tools
A bit about you:
  • You are detail oriented, great at working autonomously and meeting deadlines;
  • You have a strong analytical thought process;
  • You have an ability to go beyond the numbers and understand the bigger picture;
  • You have excellent communication skills and are able to influence others;
  • You know how to work in a team and stakeholders and know how to manage expectations;
  • You have basic SQL experience
  • You are legally eligible to work in the UK (we don't offer visa support for this role) 
You should have the following skills:
  • You are passionate about what we’re building at Wise.
  • You have strong project management skills and ability to cut through complexity
  • You love digging in data, numbers, thinking systematically, and analysing inter-dependencies.
  • You are a strong communicator: articulate, clear, strategic – with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • You are keen to roll up sleeves and get the job done, we all do our own Excel still.
  • You are humble, comfortable operating with a level of uncertainty, keen to learn. You are firm and forceful when required.
  • You are able to operate to defined timelines while bringing together a diverse stakeholder group;
  • You are able to work across multiple teams, offices, time-zones (and travel when needed!) with flexibility and a can do attitude.
Hiring process:
  • Application review
  • 1st interview with the team
  • 2nd interview with Lead Analysts to test SQL skills (30 minutes)
  • Final interview with Senior Director and Global Head of Service Scale and Experience
Salary (annual)£60,000—£76,000 GBP
