The Role

We are looking for a Commercial & Strategy Manager to join Editions, our network of delivery-only kitchens which connects growing businesses with hungry customers in brand new areas. Your role will be focused on driving the growth of this segment.

The role reports to the Head of Editions Hong Kong and it will be commercially focused and requires cross-functional collaboration with operations, marketing, sales and strategy to ensure Editions is performing to its best.

You will have P&L ownership from day 1 and own relationships with some of Deliveroo’s most famous brands and be expected to develop strategies to help your accounts grow and be successful. As a confident seller, you will also be responsible for sourcing and bringing on new restaurant partners into Editions.

This is a role for a sales-driven and ambitious individual who is looking for a strong commercial & strategic business experience.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Business Development: Source new restaurant partners for Editions and bring them on board. You will be comfortable with the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to pitching to closing
  • Strategic account management: Build strong relationships with our restaurant partners
  • Sales growth: Leverage data to build marketing plans and strategies to grow sales
  • Reporting and analytics: Utilise data across your role to make the best possible decisions
  • New business: Initiate and execute on new business models to drive incremental revenue

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in account management or commercial roles
  • Proven track record in managing high-value accounts and achieving sales targets
  • Looking for a jump into commercial strategy planning
  • Strong commercial acumen and comfortable understanding and using data
  • Experience in working in a dynamic high-growth company is preferable
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
  • Fluent in written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese) and English.
