Commissions Analyst II
The Commissions Analyst II is a critical member of the Revenue & Operations organization, reporting into the Sr Manager, GTM Sales Planning & Compensation. This role will own global sales compensation calculations, analysis and support to enable consistent, timely and accurate commission payments.The Commissions Analyst will own the ongoing operational configuration, rule creation and data administration of Vimeo’s ICM software, CaptivateIQ
What you’ll do:
- Direct ownership of all technical and reporting builds within CaptivateIQ, maintaining complex commission models.
- Manage the monthly commissions administration, ensuring timely and accurate calculations of global sales incentives.
- Conduct rigorous user-acceptance testing of new commission plan builds to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address commission related inquiries and resolve data disputes.
- Provide subject matter expertise and a high level of internal consulting support to sales management on a variety of sales compensation issues.
- Owns the sales plan distribution in CaptivateIQ ensuring accuracy of target incentives, quotas, and tracking status of the documents.
- Partner with Finance to enhance commission forecast accuracy.
- Play an active role in commissions analysis, providing insights and trends to support decision-making.
- Maintain robust controls for commission-related processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Assist with identifying opportunities for efficiencies and improvements within the sales commissions process and workflow to align with Company growth
- Design and build reports and dashboards for Sales Leadership and Management in CaptivateIQ to track and measure sales performance.
- Technical Acumen: Proficient in building and understanding complex data models.
- Organized & Detail Oriented: Ability to keep track and deliver on multiple deadlines and ongoing initiatives.
- Effective Communication: Demonstrates strong communication skills, conveying information clearly and fostering collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
Skills & Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in commissions or equivalent roles, preferably within high-growth technology or SaaS environments.
- Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and Excel required; experience with commission tools like CaptivateIQ is a plus.
- Exhibits strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills
- Capable of communicating effectively with stakeholders at various levels, both in written and verbal forms.
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, ensuring timely delivery in a fast-paced environment with business-critical deadlines.
- Experience identifying areas for process improvement and driving solutions.
Targeted Base Salary Range: $71,000.00 to $109,000.00
The base salary range listed above is for candidates located in the U.S., including the New York City metro area.
