The Community You Will Join: 

The Communications team is responsible for telling the Airbnb story around the world. Whether it's speaking to media and bloggers, Hosts and guests, industry commentators, thought leaders or the wider community, the Communications team is the voice of Airbnb.

The Difference You Will Make:

You will be responsible for supporting key elements of the global product communications strategy. You will be expected to help plan and execute Airbnb’s bi-annual product releases as well as support additional global activities, including press events, trips, press releases and other materials that generate coverage and awareness of our business. 

This role reports to the Consumer & Product Communications Senior Manager and the Product & Launch Communications team, which is part of the Global Consumer & Product team.

A Typical Day: 

• Provide support with Airbnb’s bi-annual product releases, ranging from project management to writing and editing press materials
• Provide project management support to additional global communications priorities and announcements
• Help coordinate communications activities, ranging from press events to asset development
• Support the cultivation of team culture, by planning and executing team events, activities, and recognition
• Complete other duties and special projects as assigned

Your Expertise:

• 1-3+ years of relevant experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, including supporting a team in an administrative capacity
• Passion for Airbnb and the mission of the company
• Ability to exercise judgment and maintain confidentiality
• Exhibit strong process-oriented skills and passion for trying, learning, improving, and sharing best practices
• Demonstrate outstanding pro-active and multi-tasking abilities
• Unwavering verbal communications skills in any situation. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record of being reliable, prepared, responsive, eager to learn and encouraging
• Acute attention to detail and follow through, and are very organized
• Advanced presentation skills (Keynote, G Suite) and knowledge and application of meeting collaboration tools and current social networking systems
• Maintain enthusiasm and a level head in even the most stressful situations
• Personal integrity that reflects Airbnb’s core values and commitment to diversity and belonging.
• Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
