The Challenge 

As Connect Communities continues to grow, OneTrust is looking for a Community Intern to join our Madrid hub and play a key role in nurturing and engaging our vibrant member base. This role is perfect for someone who’s passionate about building meaningful connections, creating compelling promotional content, and contributing to global programming. You’ll help shape the voice of our community through storytelling, social media, and email marketing, while also having the opportunity to lead the planning and execution of global webinars. Note: This role is located in Madrid. This is not a 100% remote role.

Your Mission 
  • Act as a key point of contact for the Connect Communities — supporting engagement, listening to member feedback, and helping foster a sense of belonging
  • Lead the planning and delivery of global virtual events, including webinars and panel discussions
  • Create engaging promotional materials and campaigns across email, social media, and internal channels
  • Help craft compelling messaging for community emails in Knak and take ownership of building and scheduling sends
  • Work closely with Field Marketers to understand regional needs and tailor community messaging and activities accordingly
  • Maintain and update community-focused content across tools and platforms (Salesforce, Knak, Zoom, Cvent, etc.)
  • Assist with regular reporting and insights gathering — track key metrics and contribute to optimizing community engagement and event success
  • Support in-person event activity within your country where needed, from forums to networking events
  • Take on other creative and community-related projects as assigned 
You Are 
  • Strong communicator with the ability to craft engaging messages in written and verbal communication
  • Seeks opportunities for process improvements
  • Natural community builder, passionate about connecting people and creating people-centred experiences
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Proactive, curious, and a team player, eager to learn and contribute
  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Event Management, or a related field
  • Strong interest in community building, event coordination, and digital marketing
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Collaborative mindset, with a passion for working in a supportive team environment
  • Familiarity with  email automation tools (marketo), Salesforce, Zoom, or Cvent is a plus, but not required (willingness to learn is key) 
  • Last year student or recent graduated. Availability to sign 25h/week or 40h/week for 6-11 months internship.
  • Is required to be able to sign an internship agreement with University.
