ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Community Manager will foster and build a social community through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, and engage with consumers and audiences. Working closely with the Brand Managers and the Social Media Manager, the role represents the voice of the consumer, monitoring conversations, posting content and managing the daily operations of various social challenges.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Responsible for fostering and building a social community through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat and engage with consumers and audiences. 
  • Work closely with the client brand team, representing the voice of the consumer, monitoring conversations, developing and posting content and managing the daily operations of various social challenges.  
  • Produce original local, Classic Arabic and English copy / messaging for all outputs, including social channels. 
  • Brainstorm visual and copy ideas with other members of the Dedicated Team and the client team in ME. 
  • Identify and track relevant community data metrics. 
  • Manage and review the work of creators/ designers to ensure consistent processes are followed. 
  • Creative copywriting skillset that enables input into creative process, ideas and delivery of social assets. 
  • Create powerful and impactful copy for straplines and posts as well as occasional digital formats for all kinds of digital content, including digital banners, short-form web pages, social media, video/ animation and advertising.   
  • Liaise with the Supplier’s customer service team on support issues.
  • Form close relationships with the client's ME product team in order to understand product information and unique selling points of products/ services.
  • Follow and help build a digital tone of voice consistent throughout all copy, posts and proactively make recommendations for the direction of campaigns.
  • Work closely with the Dedicated Team and the client's team in ME to deliver consistency and accuracy across all messaging to the agreed briefs and established brand values.
  • Work across the client's brands in the Middle East, present in several countries, such as: Egypt, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia (KSA), Iraq and Jordan. 

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

  • Passion for delivering on-brand and on-brief social communications  
  • Pro-active planning and leadership of creative community initiatives 
  • Practical know-how of how to manage social media channels especially with their intricacies 
  • Experience using analytical tools for decision making 
  • The ability to manage and filter workflow as well as organise and prioritise workloads to maximise productivity. 
  • Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a top tier agency service.
  • Experience in Food sectors. 
  • Experience working with Food products. 
  • 2-3  years of relevant experience
  • Arabic speaking and writing
