Role: Community Manager (50% role)

Location:Madrid, Spain (twice a week at the client office)

 

ROLE MISSION

With support of an embedded team of social creatives, this role will be a key part of our clients strategic function for Europe, helping reach, recruit and activate audiences around social content rooted in the culture, interests and stories people really care about and respond to.  

 You will be the go-to source of knowledge and inspiration for best practice and innovation in your market and responsible for content performance during publishing and distribution, using real-time data and A/B testing to inform iterative, incremental optimisation against client objectives – be that reach, actions or retained audience growth.  

Community Manager builds, engages and proactively supports a social community through all key channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and supports the main campaigns each year. 

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING:

Reporting to the Social Strategist, the CommunityManager is a highly collaborative role within the content team of 15.  

 Our team will work across the following:

  • Strategy - social & content 
  • Creative, copywriting & design 
  • Editorial & publishing, distribution
  • Content production & post 
  • Data & analytics 
  • Community management 
  • Online content management 
  • Paid & optimisation 

THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships. 
  • Be a level, strategic thinker 
  • The ability to spot opportunities to create content and help clients achieve their business ambitions in line with their content pillars 
  • Entrepreneurial and proactive in approach and attitude  
  • Successful implementation of content measurement and testing  
  • The ability to manage client expectations when delivering projects 
  • Excellent written communication skills, and the ability to develop the voice of the brand within it 
  • Professional and works well under pressure, retaining confidence of the client 
  • Keen and active interest in digital trends and popular culture 
  • Food experience advantageous 
  • Experience with working with a social media management tool 
  • In-depth understanding of paid media and the role of influencers 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE:

  • Work in true collaboration with the local client and be responsible for Brand Guardianship as the Steward of their online personality 
  • Driving dialogue with consumers
  • Lead social and community management for key product launches, events and activations. 
  • Build, engage and proactively support a social community through all key channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and support the main campaigns each year.  
  • Responsible for providing strategic best-in-class advice to the client and agency teams 
  • Writing inventive, attention-capturing posts in local language based on input from the international creative team / copywriter. 
  • Potentially attending and posting from live events 
  • Publishing content, with a strong brand ambassadorship 
  • Maintenance of influencer relationships and reposting 
  • Responsible for content performance during publishing and distribution, using real-time data and A/B testing to inform iterative, incremental optimisation against client objectives. 
  • Drive audience growth, engagement and organic reach. 
  • Manage social boosting to optimize conversion and success against campaign KPIs.
