About the role

As Crunchyroll's Community Marketing Manager for Brazil, you will be an important player in our Audience Development team, tasked with expanding our online communities internationally. Your role involves implementing social media strategies in collaboration with regional teams to boost brand awareness and foster lasting connections with Brazil's anime and pop culture fans. You will oversee an external Social Media Agency and work with global marketing teams.

  • Manage an external social media agency to enforce Crunchyroll's strategies and preserve our brand voice in Brazil.
  • Enhance content formats on our channels to create buzz and impactful presence.
  • Provide access to tools, content, insights, and data, promoting the development of best practices in social media through experimentation.
  • Conduct detailed regional social media analytics to identify strategic opportunities and challenges.

In the role of Community Marketing Manager, you will report to the Lead of Social Media - LatAm. We are considering remote applicants based in Brazil.

About You
  • 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, community marketing, or brand management.
  • Experience managing people and agencies/vendors.
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience leading successful, creative campaigns.
  • Experience using analytics and an understanding of major social media platforms.
  • Paid media knowledge across social platforms.
  • Understanding of latest social media trends and culture, knowing how to evaluate and sensitively harness them while maintaining brand safety and values.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g. ListenFirst, SocialBakers, Sprinklr)
  • You are fluent in Portuguese & English.
  • Knowledge of anime and fandom communities.
  • Experience working with international teams.
  • Experience with GTM strategies for social media platforms.
  • Experience leading original content and video projects.
  • Experience with Wrike or similar project management tools.
  • Professional experience working for entertainment or digital media brands.
  • Entry level Spanish language skills

Crunchyroll’s Audience Development team manages our social media, editorial, multimedia projects, influencer activations, and more! The social media team oversees one of the entertainment industry's largest social media networks, with millions of followers across every major platform and growth beyond industry standards.
