Hotukdeals is the UK’s leading deal platform and the best place for real consumers to share deals, vouchers, experiences, and shopping advice.

We are looking for a a passionate Community Support Specialist who is excited about actively supporting the biggest shopping community in the UK.,

The ideal candidate is cool-headed, empathetic, and pragmatic; able to demonstrate ability to solve tricky or sensitive situations; and fully understands the subjective nature of online community management. If you enjoy working with colleagues, but aren’t afraid of self-management and working independently, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing support to the hotukdeals community
  • Dealing with questions and queries in a friendly, balanced way
  • Working remotely, you'll be able to operate from your own home
  • Ensuring our content meets the highest standards

Conditions and working times:

  • Home-based within the UK
  • Available to work 40 hours per week
  • 5-day week including weekends (two days off every week)
  • Afternoon/evening shift 
Your Profile:
  • You have great attention to detail
  • You are focused, friendly, and can remain calm in stressful situations
  • You pride yourself on your problem-solving capabilities
  • You work well as part of a team
  • You have great time management skills and can demonstrate your ability to prioritise
  • You are passionate about deals 
  • You are fluent in English
  • Bonus: You have experience moderating a forum or online community, coupled with a customer service background
