As we continue our journey of rapid growth, the People team’s job is to help Wise to grow, develop and build for the future. That’s where you come in.
We’re looking for a Compensation and Benefits Specialist who can help deliver our reward strategy and support the next level of growth for Wise. You’ll be building frameworks to enable our Leaders to make informed compensation decisions and you’ll drive changes that will make our total reward package even more compelling.
Your mission:

- Act as the go-to expert in the Reward team on all USA and Brazil compensation and benefits matters
- Support the delivery of annual salary reviews including benchmarking, market analysis and salary range design
- Optimise our benefits offering in the USA and Brazil, including deployment of a new benefits platform and annual enrollment activities
- Design and implement compensation and benefit programs, such as market leading relocations and other innovative reward initiatives to attract and retain talent
- Deliver communication, training and activities designed to educate and inform Wisers and Leads about reward programs
- Provide insight and trends with regards to reward in the US fintech sector, including regulatory requirements, employment tax issues for recruitment, people partners and leads - ensuring that our US reward structures are compliant and competitive
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes at a federal, state and local level and oversee data management to ensure compliance and data security.
This role will give you the opportunity to work in a high impact, global team where you have freedom to bring your expertise to the table and be creative in how you approach and tackle reward challenges.
A bit about you:
- Strong technical compensation and benefits knowledge and experience - benchmarking, salary range design, annual salary reviews process, benefits and stock.
- Experience delivering reward projects - you’ll know how to scope a problem and craft a plan to deliver meaningful results - and you won’t be afraid of rolling up your sleeves to get stuck into the delivery
- Exceptional communicator - you’ll be used to working with business leaders with a skill for taking the complex and making it simple
- Effective analytical influencer - we’re a data led business but that’s not enough; you’ll need to be able to pull out and craft strong narratives from large data sets (using Excel and other tools)
- Incredible team player - we’re a global, yet close-knit team of reward subject matter experts so you’ll need to be super collaborative and invested in our joint success.
