Are you passionate about ensuring fair and competitive compensation practices while helping build a global compensation structure? We’re looking for a Compensation Analyst who will play a key role in driving our compensation strategy. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining our global job architecture, benchmarking our compensation plans, and contributing to the overall success of our company’s compensation framework. What You’ll Do

  • Support the Global Compensation Function: Assist in the research, development, and execution of evolving compensation programs that align with company objectives.
  • Job Evaluation and Range Setting: Conduct job evaluations and establish salary ranges for base, total cash, and total direct compensation on a global scale.
  • Benchmarking: Review and update company-wide compensation benchmarks annually to ensure market competitiveness. Lead implementation of updates.
  • Compensation Projects: Participate in and support ongoing global compensation analysis projects and provide ad-hoc compensation recommendations to support business needs.
  • Job Architecture and Compensation Process in Workday: Improve and maintain job profiles, compensation grades, and complete ongoing data audits to ensure accuracy and integrity in Workday.
  • Bi-Annual Salary Reviews: Administer bi-annual salary review and planning processes to support fair and competitive pay practices across the organization.
  • Collaboration: Partner with HR Business Partners, Recruiting, and Finance teams to address compensation needs, including benchmarking, employee analysis, and special projects as needed.
  • Market Research and Surveys: Complete external compensation surveys and participate in research and analysis of market data to maintain or enhance the company’s competitive position.

What You Have

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a compensation or HR-related role within a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated expertise in job evaluation, salary structures, and salary benchmarking.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint.
    • Strong attention to detail and a high sense of urgency in a dynamic work environment.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Collaboration: A team player with strong communication skills who can work cross-functionally with various stakeholders such as HRIS, Recruiting, Finance, and Business Controllers.
  • Technology: Experience with HR systems, preferably Workday, and a desire to continuously improve compensation processes through technology.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee’s job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental and vision benefits; life insurance; short term and long-term disability; 401(k) retirement plan; and vacation and sick leave. Successful candidates may also be eligible for equity (stock) based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.

Annual Base Pay Range$90,000—$153,500 USD
