Our established and collaborative global legal and compliance team works across offices, time zones, departments, and jurisdictions.  The ideal candidate for this group should be a team player, extremely motivated, resourceful, efficient, organized, detail-oriented, and a clear communicator. We are looking for a Compliance Assistant who would be responsible for supporting the Compliance Department. This position will primarily involve providing administrative support, research, and assistance on special projects.   

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries and audits including organizing responsive documents
  • Responsible for gathering all new-hire paperwork and required attestations to help ensure all required forms are completed and stored electronically
  • Responsible for FINRA web CRD and employee fingerprint administration
  • Help ensure compliance books and records are organized and current
  • Monitor continuing education requirements. Schedule exams and order study materials as necessary, assist in preparation and delivery of educational programs
  • Maintain employee personal brokerage account records and restricted list in firm systems
  • Collaborate/liaise with team members in international offices
  • Conduct periodic inspections of company records
  • Other duties as assigned or needed

 

Skills You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and to prioritize assignments
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to research, prepare, and draft documents
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with due care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional demeanor
  • Experience in an office environment preferred
  • Reliable and predictable availability
