We are seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy student to assist with IT support tasks and IT security compliance initiatives within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen interest in maintaining and enhancing IT security measures. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in IT support and IT security compliance for students interested in pursuing careers in information technology or cybersecurity.

• Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up new devices, and assisting with software installations.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of IT security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Help monitor and analyze network traffic for security incidents and anomalies, and escalate as necessary.
• Participate in security awareness training initiatives for employees to promote best practices and awareness of IT security threats.
• Contribute to the documentation of IT support procedures and IT security protocols.
• Assist with vulnerability scanning and patch management activities to ensure the security of systems and applications.
• Collaborate with IT teams to identify and address IT security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest IT security trends, technologies, and best practices.

• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• You bring a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and operating systems.
• You have basic knowledge of IT security principles and practices.
• Familiarity with IT support tools and ticketing systems is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate are advantageous, but not required.
