The Channel Communications team at Airbnb is responsible for driving positive conversation and buzz about Airbnb via social media, influencers and more.

We’re seeking a creative, collaborative and versatile team contributor to support a communications team that is building visibility and advancing awareness for the unique benefits and proximity to culture that Airbnb offers. The Consumer & Entertainment Social Manager will help deliver social campaigns that keep Airbnb front of mind, helping to inspire discovery, increase consideration and build advocacy for the brand. This role will be responsible for supporting and executing social campaigns deeply rooted in pop culture  that support overarching communications goals and campaigns across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter/ X.

The ideal candidate is curious, engaged, positive, and detail- and solution-oriented. The world and thus our industry is changing quickly so the ideal candidate will be comfortable with responding promptly and changing course as needed when priorities evolve and shift.

A Typical Day: 

  • Support high visibility, high impact social campaigns to achieve global communications goals across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter/X
  • Assist in the design and development of social-forward programming rooted in pop culture 
  • Assist in the development of internal and external documents such as social briefs, go-to-market plans and presentations that relay social strategies and tactics  to leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Brainstorms and provides creative thought leadership on campaign concepts in partnership with the Social Lead   
  • Collaborates with Marketing, Production, Influencer and International  teams, to ensure campaigns launch seamlessly
  • Manages deadlines and timelines to ensure the team is hitting key milestones for each social campaign launch
  • Keeps up to date with social trends and best practices to help inform the social approach for social campaigns
  • Brings new methods and strategies for success to the table with confidence to present and execute successfully
  • Monitor, tracks and analyzes managed social campaigns, leveraging thoughtful and impactful data-led insights to inform future approaches

Your Expertise:

  • 6-8 years experience in social media work
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Deep knowledge and expertise in executing creative and innovative social strategies across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter/X
  • Experience in supporting highly visible social media campaigns 
  • Experience working with celebrity talent is a plus
  • Experience merchandising and presenting plans to leadership 
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills 
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A passion for pop culture and trends
  • Experience working with and managing multiple stakeholders 
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with social listening and measurement tools like Sprinklr

Your Location:

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. How We'll Take Care of You:

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.  

Pay Range$111,000—$130,000 USD
