As the Content Author you will be responsible for managing and deploying the content for client CMS platforms. Your role will involve hands-on data entry, formatting supplied content, uploading media, configuring widgets, publishing content and developing a deep understanding of AKQA’s CMS systems.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager content authoring is strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional quality of work
• Strong ticket management skillset within Kanban style following Agile practices
• Strong responsiveness and organisational skillsets in being able to manage multiple tasks at a time
• Experience optimising sites to follow SEO best practices
• Special attention to page hierarchy and redirects
• Experience with adhering to UX best practices
• Experience and comfortability with scheduling deployment/launch deadlines

Nice to have:

• Basic experience with HTML text formatting
• Familiarity with A/B testing
• Experience training business users to upload content
• Familiar with documenting processes in Confluence
• Experience with basic image manipulation in Adobe Photoshop (or equivalent image editing software)
• Understanding of QA and testing best practices within web environment
• Work with content creators to ensure copy and assets are translated into target websites
