Job Description:

TripAdvisor’s content team is responsible for all of the user-generated content on the site - that’s over 250 contributions per minute! We take immense pride in ensuring the reviews, photos, forums posts, listing requests and updates, and all other content is posted accurately and quickly and is helpful to our large and global traveler community.

Location: Needham, MassachusettsHybrid: 2-3 days a week office attendance

What you will do:

  • Become an expert in content policies, providing language and country-specific expertise as needed
  • Make consistent decisions on high-risk escalated content with a deep understanding of potential threats to traveler safety and impact to the website
  • Process listings escalated content.
  • Monitor the turnaround of user-generated content
  • Assist in the development of documentation and training materials that support a consistent global process
  • Train and shadow new team members as needed
  • Collaborate with business unit team members on special projects and prioritize deadlines
  • Utilize metrics to identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of tools, enhance automation, and improve quality
  • Help with testing of new features and tool improvements
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and document bugs found on the TripAdvisor website and in our internal tools

What you will bring to the team:

  • 1+ years of relevant professional experience
  • University degree required
  • Proficiency in English required. Fluency in other languages would be an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent time management, prioritization and multitasking skills
  • Confident in decision making and able to resolve complex problems with strong critical and out of the box thinking.
  • Strong communication skills and a talent for collaboration across a global team at all levels of the company
  • Flexibility and adaptability particularly in a changing, fast-paced, and often ambiguous work environment
  • Results-oriented with ability to use feedback and metrics to improve future performance
  • Strong execution skills with a focus on speed and efficiency of results
  • Strong technical skills including experience using Google and Microsoft products and web-based tools.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and dedication to providing exceptional customer care
