Mapp is looking for a Contracts Manager for the DACH region to join Mapp’s close-knit, start-up like, international legal team. This role reports to the Director, Contracts & Corporate Affairs.

Your main duties will be to prepare, review and negotiate German commercial contracts (including MSAs, NDAs, associated Amendments, Orders and Statements of Work etc.) and data protection agreements. You will also assist the legal team with other company contracts, ad hoc tasks and on-going projects.

In addition to speaking both fluent German and English, the successful candidate will demonstrate a strong attention to detail and at least two years of previous experience with German law contracts (in-house experience preferred).

• Prepare and manage contracts, mainly for the 2 German entities.

• Help to negotiate contract terms with external business partners as needed.

• Review and update existing contracts as needed.

• Help with other ongoing projects as needed.

• At least 2 years prior experience in German law contracts is required

• Prior experience in the IT industry, SaaS-based company, is preferred

• German Data protection law experience is a plus

• Excellent writing and communication skills

• Keen attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partners

• Fluent (at least C2) in German and English
