YOUR MISSION

Our goal is to provide an on-demand delivery infrastructure for every city in the world.We are looking for a top talented Accounting Lead to lead a team of 4 Senior Accountant Controllers and be responsible for overseeing reporting of Financial Statements of Glovo.

THE JOURNEY

• Oversee finance reporting activities, including the review of local Financial Statements of Glovo subsidiaries.
• Be in charge of global month-end-closing and support local teams to ensure timely submission of TB, KPIs and FTEs.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting at Glovo group level.
• Review, investigate and correct inconsistencies in financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly financial reports providing relevant stakeholders with accurate and insightful information.
• Drive reporting process improvement and coordinate when necessary with local finance teams.
• Participate in cross-departmental projects.
• Maintain a strong communication and act as the main point of contact for Delivery Hero and for other Glovo stakeholders in terms of finance reporting.
• Support local accounting teams in cross accounting projects led from HQ, such as IFRS implementation, ERP implementations, Reporting package implementation, etc.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting required. Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience working in audit, as financial controller or in a similar role. A combination of international exposure is a plus.
• A strong technical knowledge of accounting and compliance issues. Knowledge of the digital industry is a plus.
• Proven team management skills. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using Onestream or other reporting tools. Experience in SAP S4/HANA is a plus.
• Proficient with Excel and G-suite.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Data driven and results oriented.
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment, prioritizes multiple projects, meets all deadlines, and is dependable with a sense of personal responsibility for quality work product.
