The UX team are the DNA that exists to connect our customers, business and brand. We play a pivotal role in helping and supporting our customers on our Zero Carbon journey by crafting experiences that power the movement today and lead the path to the future.

This role in a nutshell:

We’re looking for a GenAI content strategist to help us evolve and develop our use of LLMs to provide a consistent, engaging, and accessible experience for our customers.

Your key outcomes will be:

• Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and customer experience teams to identify improvements to our current use of generative AI
• Define opportunities to apply our existing LLM technology to our customer chatbots or other customer touch points
• Employ your knowledge of AI best-practice to make sure we’re monitoring, calibrating and retraining our models where needed
• Define prompts and logic for chatbot or email flows, with potential to expand to voice or telephony
• Build and create working prototypes that can be tested with users
• Work with cross-functional partners to make sure our content connects across all parts of the user experience, using service design principles to find opportunities to improve 
• Contribute to our content and UX community by participating in crits, sharing AI skills, and advocating for content and UX design
• Work alongside engineering to check feasibility of solutions and make sure our experiences are built to spec

Systems: Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides etc), Jira, Confluence, Miro and Figma

You’ll be a successful Conversation Design Strategist at OVO if you…

• A pragmatic and highly collaborative person, who thrives in a dynamic environment
• Someone able to zoom out and think strategically but who doesn’t mind rolling up their sleeves and getting into the detail too
• You have worked in multi-discipline teams on chatbots and with LLMs 
• You understand the risks and limitations of AI
• You’re comfortable building cross-functional relationships and influencing at all levels

We’ll pay you between £75,000 - £85,000, depending on your specific skills and experience. If your expectations are a little different, have a chat with us!

We keep our pay ranges broad on purpose to give us, and you, flexibility to match your experience to our zero carbon mission.

You’ll be eligible for an on-target bonus of 15%. We have one OVO bonus plan that focuses on the collective performance of our people to deliver our Plan Zero goal.
