YOUR MISSION

As a Sr. Supply Operations professional, your leadership and expertise will be pivotal in elevating operational excellence and ensuring Glovo consistently delivers on its customer promise through enhanced fleet performance, robust cost-efficiency, and superior service quality. You will serve as a primary strategic partner for our external and internal fleets, taking a lead role in cultivating strong relationships and driving transformative operational improvements.

You will be instrumental in guiding fleets to optimize their operations, drive performance, and scale effectively, all in direct alignment with Glovo’s overarching strategic goals. Empowered to make advanced data-driven decisions, you will proactively identify and lead opportunities to innovate and streamline our logistics operations, anticipating and meeting growing demands. Your contributions will directly and significantly impact the quality and efficiency of our delivery network, achieved through strategic collaboration, deep data-driven insights, and sophisticated performance management. You will actively collaborate with fleets to identify critical areas for improvement, implement best practices, and drive results that are essential for their sustained growth and success. From day one, you will assume significant ownership of these crucial partnerships, ensuring both Glovo and our delivery partners thrive and adapt within a dynamic logistics environment.

THE JOURNEY

  • Lead the ownership and strategic oversight of operational metrics for cities, ensuring robust alignment with Glovo’s objectives and high-performance standards.
  • Define, establish, and rigorously monitor ambitious monthly/quarterly goals for both cities, driving continuous and significant performance improvement.
  • Serve as the main strategic point of contact for fleets, ensuring seamless communication and high-impact collaboration to optimize performance.
  • Build and nurture strong, enduring relationships with fleets, proactively guiding their growth, operational enhancements, and profitability increases.
  • Provide expert support to fleets in refining their operational processes, with a focus on maximizing efficiency, strategic cost reduction, and robust scalability.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze key operational metrics, ensuring external logistics partners consistently align with Glovo's strategic goals and performance standards.
  • Conduct in-depth tracking and analysis of operational performance, proactively identifying areas for transformative improvement and proposing actionable, data-backed solutions to any issues that may hinder your cities or fleets from achieving their goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to proactively address and swiftly resolve complex operational challenges.
  • Define, meticulously implement, and rigorously monitor advanced procedures in collaboration with local teams to significantly enhance the performance of individual cities or fleets.
  • Regularly and critically assess the impact of new strategic initiatives or process changes on performance, working in close partnership with both internal and external fleets.
  • Provide expert support and leadership for new fleet operations and advanced logistics strategies, including the strategic onboarding of external 3PL partners.
  • Lead by example, consistently making sophisticated data-driven decisions and upholding an exceptionally high standard of operational excellence for the entire team.
  • Actively collaborate with colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous learning and mutual support that encourages significant professional growth, development, and impactful contributions.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE:

  • 2+ years of progressive experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management, with a proven track record of driving transformations.
  • Academic degree related to science, data or business management. Engineers and Data Analysts are strongly valued.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build, nurture, and influence strong relationships with external partners and cross-functional teams.
  • A highly proactive and strategic mindset, with a deep focus on complex problem-solving, continuous improvement, and leading impactful initiatives.
  • A profound passion for logistics, complex operations, and advanced performance optimization.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and advanced data analysis tools, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both Spanish and English, with strong presentation skills.
  • An empathetic, highly collaborative, and inclusive team player with a strong intellectual curiosity for continuous learning and a commitment to fostering the growth of others.
  • Demonstrated experience in last-mile logistics or fleet management is highly valued.
