Role: Copywriter (FTC - 12 months)

Location:London, England, United Kingdom (Needs to be based in client office 2 days a week)

 

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Copywriter will produce original copy, including content, straplines and headlines for all forms of printed collateral, web pages, email campaigns, social media, presentations, advertising, marketing and sales collateral. Copy produced will be both for content and headlines for digital and print based projects including web pages, news articles, advertising, marketing and sales collateral as well as potential presentation scripts. The ideal candidate will be someone with strong foundations in both print and digital, but with a desire to increase their involvement in digital projects, as this requirement grows. You’ll ideally be from an agency background with around 5 years. The role is fast-paced and responsive working across multiple different projects and clients within the RB organisation.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Develop Creative strategies that are in sync with current media & digital trends
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the clients objective and formulate plan of action to achieve them
  • Liase with Designers to ensure enrich the text and the visuals of the content.
  • Should be able to increase visibility of articles using SEO
  • Researching about the relevant industry and market trends to ensure that the strategies being devised are as per the customer’s expectations
  • Ensuring that the brand guidelines of both the IIG Group and client are being in place
  • Ensuring timely deliverables
  • Fostering relationships with client to better understand the client’s requirement.
  • Monitoring the other team members
  • Proofreading of the work of other team members.

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

  • Relevant work experience , preferably in the similar industry
  • Should have had work experience in professional / commercial writing
  • Fair writing / editing skills
  • Hands on experience on Content Management System
  • Should have portfolio of published content
  • Efficient in working & managing team
