We’re looking for a dynamic Corporate Affairs Specialist to join our team. This is unique opportunity for someone who is a skilled program manager and passionate about employee engagement through impact and also is ready to roll up their sleeves and learn from experts across our team by helping with bespoke programs across the org including (but definitely not limited to) ESG, Sustainability, Partnerships, Public Affairs and Corporate Philanthropy. 

The Corporate Affairs and Social Impact team is dedicated to leveraging Pinterest’s unique assets, insights and expertise to advance social and environmental impact for the global community we serve online and off. We’re also responsible for connecting with all levels of the community through internal and external impact mechanisms, build intentional and trusted relationships with partners across government, civil society and the nonprofit sector all in service of building Pinterest’s mission, key programs and brand. 

What you’ll do:

  • Drive volunteer service initiatives globally across Pinterest, supporting broad participation in impactful service across the company. That includes initiating and managing large-scale service activities and campaigns, supporting offices around the world as they create local service efforts and trusted volunteer partnerships with organizations around the world.
  • Manage Pinterest’s donation matching program to increase the impact and rate of employee giving and engage with leaders across the company to help galvanize and support these efforts.
  • Work on a range of projects/tasks across the Pinterest Corporate Affairs & Social Impact org, including but not limited to: ESG reporting, benchmarking, and tracking; Environmental Sustainability; the Pinterest Impact Fund; External Affairs & Community Engagement and; the Pinterest Impact Fund.
  • Provide administrative and project support to members of the Corporate Affairs team including: Senior Director of Corporate Affairs, Senior ESG Lead, Senior Sustainability Lead and Pinterest Impact Fund Lead.
  • Perform a range of administrative and operational tasks including but not limited to: preparing/drafting internal and external communications, project planning and implementation, budget templates, project proposals, research, data tracking and analysis, etc.

What we’re looking for:

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience within corporate affairs, social impact, community affairs, government, civil society, employee engagement or in the private sector.
  • Experience in managing employee-facing giving platforms such as Benevity, Brights Funds. etc. from an administrator capacity.
  • Strong analytical skills with a knack for data-driven approaches and experience in creation/management of reporting dashboards.
  • Skilled project manager who is a terrific communicator with both entrepreneurial instincts and nonprofit experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate and knowledgeable about how volunteerism, civic participation, and social action can come together to make an impact.
  • Demonstrated operational excellence with experience managing complex projects, aligning stakeholders and working independently when necessary, while driving projects and outcomes to completion.
  • A strategic mindset to assess situations, identify fixes, and implement real change with a sense of urgency.
  • A deep and manifest commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with the technology industry, the nonprofit sector, and Pinterests’ business model.
  • Capacity for building lasting relationships with colleagues within Pinterest, and with external constituents with a broad range of backgrounds and experiences. Builds credibility with colleagues and external partners.
  • Strong alignment with Pinterest culture and values.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.
