Corporate Communications Director
At Trustpilot, we're on an incredible journey. We're a profitable, high-growth FTSE-250 company with a big vision: to become the universal symbol of trust. We run the world's largest independent consumer review platform, and while we've come a long way, there's still so much exciting work to do. Come join us at the heart of trust!
At Trustpilot, we know that reputation is everything. We’re looking for a seasoned and strategic Corporate Communications Director to shape and amplify Trustpilot’s corporate story — building trust with consumers, businesses, investors, and the media.
Sitting at the intersection of brand, executive leadership, PR, and stakeholder engagement, this role will be instrumental in strengthening our reputation on the global stage. You’ll lead corporate communications strategy, manage our agency network, and ensure Trustpilot’s voice is clear, consistent, and impactful across every channel.
If you thrive on storytelling at the highest level, know how to navigate a fast-paced, global environment, and can turn complex business priorities into compelling narratives — this role is for you.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead and own Trustpilot’s global corporate communications strategy — from long-term reputation building to fast-turn crisis comms
- Elevate executive profiling for our CEO and C-suite leaders, shaping their external presence through thought leadership, speaking opportunities, and media engagement
- Act as strategic guardian of Trustpilot’s reputation — developing messaging, press releases, media statements, and Q&As that communicate our mission, strengths, and strategic priorities
- Drive global media relations — managing agency partners, cultivating journalist relationships, and securing impactful earned media coverage
- Oversee crisis and issues management, ensuring Trustpilot is prepared and responsive with clear, timely, and consistent communications
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Marketing, Legal, and People teams to align communications with company goals and campaigns
- Manage measurement and insights — monitoring media coverage, tracking KPIs, and evolving strategy based on results
- Optimise processes and tools — from media monitoring platforms to award submissions and communications workflows
Who you are:
- Proven experience in corporate communications, ideally within a high-profile consumer brand; experience in tech or listed companies is a plus
- A proven track record of leading communications strategy at a global level, with both proactive and reactive (crisis) experience
- A natural storyteller with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills — able to simplify complexity and inspire trust
- Experienced in managing PR agencies and budgets, with sound judgment on media, reputation, and stakeholder engagement
- Comfortable working at pace, juggling multiple priorities, and adjusting quickly in response to shifting circumstances
- Collaborative and influential — able to build strong relationships across executive leadership, global teams, and external stakeholders
- Curious, resilient, and business-minded — motivated by the challenge of strengthening reputation in a dynamic, evolving industry
What's in it for you:
- A range of flexible working options to dedicate time to what matters to you
- Competitive compensation package + bonus
- Restrictive Stock Units
- 25 days holiday per year, increasing to 28 days after 2 years of employment
- Two (paid) volunteering days a year to spend your time giving back to the causes that matter to you and your community
- Rich learning and development opportunities supported through the Trustpilot Academy and Blinkist
- Pension and life insurance
- Health cash plan, online GP, 24/7, Employee Assistance Plan
- Full access to Headspace, a popular mindfulness app to promote positive mental health
- Paid parental leave
- Season ticket loan and a cycle to work scheme
- Central office location complete with table tennis, a gaming corner, coffee bars and all the snacks and refreshments you can ask for
- Regular opportunities to connect and get to know your fellow Trusties, including company-wide celebrations and events, ERG activities and team socials.
- Access to over 4,000 deals and discounts on things like travel, electronics, fashion, fitness, cinema discounts and more.
- Independent financial advice and free standard professional mortgage broker advice
Still not sure?
We want to be a part of creating a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive world of work for all. We’re excited to hear about your experiences as well as how you will contribute to our working culture. So, even if you don’t feel you don't meet all the requirements, we'd still really like to hear from you!
