Your Team

The Corporate Development team is looking for a new Senior Associate to strengthen its team. Reporting directly to the CFO and regularly interacting with the Executive Committee, the team plays a key role in Doctolib's strategic and financial plan. Today the team is organized into three divisions:

  • Corporate Strategy, whose mission is to define Doctolib's medium and long-term strategy. This includes creating the 5-year strategic and financial plan, overseeing international development, and managing other new strategic initiatives; 
  • Strategic Watch, which oversees strategic monitoring of the ecosystem, watches developments in our markets, and produces strategic research on specific themes;
  • External Growth (M&A and  Investors Relations), which is responsible for originating and executing acquisitions, structuring strategic partnerships, implementing Doctoilb’s financing strategy (i.e. fundraising), and managing investor relations.

Your missions

As a Corporate Development Senior Associate, you will be fully integrated into the team and work closely with the managers of the three divisions: Corporate Strategy, Strategic Watch, and External Growth. 

As an illustration you may have the following tasks: 

  • Participation in Doctolib's strategic discussions and preparation of presentations for the Executive Committee or the Senior Leadership Team;
  • Contribution to the origination exercises for M&A targets;
  • Contribution to M&A processes: primary contributor to project management, team coordination, target valuation (including synergy modeling), participation in the due diligence process, support in preparing decision documents for the Comex and the Board, involvement in negotiations, etc.;
  • Contribution to the regular monitoring of healthtech ecosystem stakeholders' activity (financial performance, innovations, acquisitions, etc.);
  • Support in overseeing the macroeconomic context (economy and financial markets) and its implications for Doctolib;
  • Support in managing investor relations (current and future) for Doctolib and execute future financing projects.

Expected qualities for this position 

  • You have at least 2 years of professional work experience, with a first experience in strategy and / or corporate finance
  • You have a strong analytical and synthesis mindset
  • You are comfortable with numbers and financial modeling
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • You are proactive, action-oriented, and focused on results
  • You have a high interest in the e-health and broader healthcare and tech sectors, and are looking for a position that can make a significant impact on society
  • You are proficient in English and fluent in French. German, Italian or Dutch is a plus

Recruitment process 

  • A first discussion with the recruiter regarding the role expectations and your background (30 minutes)

  • Presentation of a practical case with the operational team (1 hour)
  • A final interview with the Corporate Development team lead (45 minutes / 1 hour)
