The Systems Engineer is a highly skilled professional with excellent knowledge on infrastructure technologies both on-prem and cloud. Driven by eagerness learn and use modern and emerging technologies with passion. This role will connect the dots for various business needs in multiple locations, determining the best approach and solution to ensure that services are professional supported while keeping costs down. The Systems Engineer is an excellent team player, works under minimal supervision and is willing to consult and share knowledge.

 

Main Responsibilities:

· Maintain and develop an Infrastructure supporting the Betsson’s business requirements

· Maintain and develop documentation and knowledge sharing in via online tools

· Take ownership of systems and service monitoring

· Focus on implementing continuous improvement

· Provides technical expertise to enable the correct application of operational procedures

· Contributes in architecting technical solutions to meet Betsson’s dynamic business requirements

· Contributes to the planning and implementation of maintenance and installation work

· Identifies operational problems and contributes to their resolution, checking that they are managed in accordance with agreed standards and procedures

· Administration and handling of Betsson’s Cloud and On-Prem Infrastructure, Corporate Services such as Active Directory and Office 365, amongst others.

· Uses standard procedures and tools to carry out defined system backups, restoring data where necessary

· Be expected to work on call and/or on shifts as per business requirements.

 

Requirements:

· Experience on infrastructure including traditional On-Prem and Cloud Services (Especially AWS);

· Experience using IaC (Terraform / Ansible)

· Experience on MS SQL (Or Similar)

· Coding Experience (C#, Python, PowerShell, Node JS)

· Knowledge of procedures and tools to carry out defined system and data backups and restores;

· Service mindset;

· Willingness to go the extra mile for supporting colleagues.

 

Good To Have:

· Tertiary Education and / or a bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science;

· Vender specific certifications (AWS, Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco, Veeam).

· Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMWare), monitoring technologies and tools;

· Office 365
