We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and operationally skilled Country Leader for Italy. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment and encourage diverse candidates to apply. In this role, you'll lead and develop a team of successful Account Executives across Commercial, Enterprise, and Public sectors, with responsibilities including recruitment, forecasting, territory planning, and fostering channel partner relationships. You will establish strong business relationships at the executive level, support key sales presentations, and provide strategic direction to achieve business goals.

- Inspire and Empower: Grow and inspire the Italian team (Milan and Rome offices), embedding Pure Storage culture and values, emphasizing diversity and inclusion.
- Talent Development: Recruit and develop top talent, always scouting for potential hires, with a focus on fostering an inclusive workplace.
- Leadership and Support: Lead and support the extended Pure Storage team (SEs, Channel/GSI, CAE, Marketing, SDR, etc.), ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Performance Management: Manage KPIs including pipeline growth, forecast accuracy, and partner alignment, promoting a balanced work-life approach.
- Relationship Building: Maintain excellent relationships with channel partners, emphasizing mutual growth and success.
- Lead by Example: Drive sales activities and lead by example, ensuring team members achieve or exceed their quotas.
- Field Support: Support the team in the field and during deals, with frequent travel expected, offering flexibility to accommodate personal commitments.
- Achieve Business Results: Deliver business results, including annual bookings and new logo production, while promoting a supportive and empowering work culture.
- Continuous Improvement: Conduct weekly performance reviews, focusing on pipeline health and problem-solving, encouraging a growth mindset.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- Leadership Experience: 5+ years of technology sales leadership experience, with a focus on inclusive team management.
- Sales Model Experience: Experience with software & subscription sales models.
- Collaboration Skills: Strong collaboration and influence skills within an organization, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment within the Italian team.
- Inspiring Leadership: Charismatic leadership to inspire and persuade others, with a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Field Sales Success: 10+ years of successful field sales on complex Enterprise IT solutions with C-suite engagement, promoting equal opportunities.
- Talent Development Track Record: Proven recruitment and associate development track record, with a focus on building diverse teams.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Operational Excellence: Organized, detail-oriented, efficient forecasting skills and proficient in problem-solving with effective use of CRM and other online tools.
- Location and Travel: Proximity to Milan or Rome with the ability to travel across Italy, offering flexibility to accommodate personal commitments.
- Office Presence: Office presence expected 4 days a week, with flexibility based on business needs.
- Language Skills: Native/bilingual Italian and fluent English skills required.
