The Wayfair Creative Studio team is a dynamic group of innovative thinkers across many disciplines, partnering closely with strategic leaders to catapult Wayfair into the leading destination for all things home. As a collaborative, hands-on group, we are focused on producing high-quality, branded assets to be used in marketing materials of all kinds, including digital, print, and video advertising channels. 

The Role.Wayfair is seeking multiple visual designers to join our growing team as we look to expand our production capabilities. On day one, you’ll dive into our collaborative work environment, helping to build and scale asset output for high investment workstreams. Over the first few months, you’ll partner with other creatives of various backgrounds to concept and develop new projects in close partnership with a creative director and marketing leaders. Within the first year, you will have helped to bring a consistent creative vision to our consumer facing channels, bringing our brand to life. 

This role reports to our Associate Creative Director within the Wayfair Creative Studio, which is part of our diverse Creative department. Candidates must submit a portfolio of work in order to be considered.

What You’ll Do: 

 

  • Uphold the integrity of Wayfair’s signature look through high output branded asset creation.
  • Design graphics across a range of media, including promotional campaigns, digital assets, email marketing, print, etc. 
  • Assist the Wayfair Creative Studio team with research, exploration and ideation.
  • Manage multiple projects requiring cross-functional collaboration.
  • Work cross-functionally and partner with other business groups at Wayfair as needed. 
  • Seek and develop ways of helping the team work smarter, faster, and easier. Develop, align on and implement processes when and where necessary. 

Who You Are: 

  • Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design or related field, or equivalent training.
  • 1+ years of experience in graphic design or related field.
  • Proficient use of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator). Experience with Google Suite preferred. 
  • Familiarity with Sketch or Figma
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate design vision in visual, written, and verbal formats. 
  • Ability to self-manage projects and seek out answers to questions in a very fast-paced environment. 
  • Well-versed in both concepting and technical design, with an ability to see things from both a creative and business point of view. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with all levels of the organization. Embodies and promotes a successful attitude, a positive work environment, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results. 
  • A wealth of curiosity and a high-tolerance for calculated growth. 
  • Proactive, forward-thinking and collaborative.
